MB/SK Teacher Convention 2022 (Livestream)

Ongoing, localized and personalized professional development is essential to the flourishing of teachers. ACSIWC provides structured events to help meet the development goals of Christian schools and their teachers. Each year we host Teacher Conventions which local committees help plan. These conventions feature both keynote presentations and workshops which are intended to match the professional goals of our schools. The distinctive element of each convention is the Christ-centered foundation of all learning experiences for teachers. Every educational topic is presented through the lens of the Biblical narrative. Conventions inform, equip and ultimately inspire.

Theme—Spiritual Flourishing

Increasingly, Christian schools are going to become the best schools in their communities … period! When our movement started, the focus was on providing a place where children would experience God in ways not offered at public schools. Over the last 30 years, school systems have moved to a more absolute secular worldview. Christian schools will flourish in this age because their commitment is to teach students to love and seek truth, both in the natural world and in the Word. Convention 2021 will focus on creating great learning experiences for our students. This is accomplished through instruction that is both Biblically grounded and committed to the latest and most reliable research about effective student learning. This event contributes to the continual improvement of your school.
