Stress and Soul Care: A Mental Health Development Day

Stress is essential for our lives, but there is stress that moves us forward and stress that sinks us.  In this professional development day, we are going to look at areas that may be causing us unhelpful stress in ourselves, our staff and our school community.  Correctly naming the cause opens the opportunity to react accurately and effectively and find healthy ways pathways forward.  The day will be a hybrid of learning and discussion to be led at individual schools by a moderator.

Topics include: Stress & Self, Stress & Staff and Stress & School Community.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Katy Kwon graduated from Trinity Western University with a MA in Counselling Psychology and attends Jericho Ridge Community Church. Katy lives in Langley, BC with her husband and three young boys. She desires to use her knowledge of mental health to strengthen the church around her.
