District Meetings are designed to connect, inform, and inspire. Each meeting features time for leaders to share the current realities of their schools. In addition, the latest information about educational trends is provided. This includes political, cultural, spiritual, economic, and legal data that is relevant to Christian schools. Guest speakers are also brought in to make presentations on current Christian educational practices. Administrators are encouraged to continually improve their schools for the blessing of their students and the glory of God.
GUEST SPEAKER—WAYNE DURKSEN
Wayne has devoted his forty-year career to creating unique and effective methods that inspire, empower, and motivate the people around him to not only access, but maximize their God-given potential in ways that change and shape how they interact and serve their world. He believes that effective outcomes are created when clarity of purpose is identified, with appropriate responsibility, authority and accountability assigned to the person(s) in charge of its execution. Wayne holds a M.A. in Leadership & Management with a Major in Organizational Leadership.
REFUND POLICY
If a registered attendee from your school is unable to attend, you are encouraged to send a substitute. No refunds will be provided less than two weeks from the event, except in the case of medical or urgent family emergency.
In the case of medical or urgent family emergency, refunds for a registered attendee will be available upon written request to the ACSI Western Canada office at acsiwc_info@acsi.org.
