  • With a shovel in one hand and a sword in the other. Together we will look at tools to weave purpose and meaning connection into our lives. Looking at mental health best practices to find a sustainable path forward.

We all face a conflict of ideas or with one another. The session is designed to help participants understand their constructive and destructive tendencies and begin building positive action-oriented approaches in order to de-escalate future conflicts.

  • Presented by: Candace Unrau

    Focus: General/ Art

This art workshop empowers elementary teachers to introduce their students to the fascinating world of one-point perspective. Through a hands-on demo, teachers will gain a practical understanding of perspective principles and will explore how to adapt these concepts for different grade levels. Teachers will also receive a copy of a worksheet and other valuable resources at the end of the workshop.

  • Presented by: Awln Davison

A 'hands on' session.  You will come away with template Prompts to build interactive lessons, units and maybe even course outlines!

Learn to write your own effective prompts to produce quizzes, rubrics, diagrams, images and formative assessments.

*Bring your laptop, or we can lend you a Chromebook!

  • Presented by: Phil Hills

    Focus: General (All Teachers)

When I began my career there was a lot of talk about our students being a product of the post modern age. That is not longer true. Today’s students live in a virtual multiverse. Because of this they believe many ideas are true, but what distinguishes them from their relativistic elders is that they also believe some things are true for everyone at all time. Come to this session to understand how they can hold to these contradictions. Discover their deepest desires in this world. More than this, learn how to use this emerging worldview as a powerful springboard to gospel centered thinking and living.

More coming soon.
