  • Backward Design: Crafting and Implementing Meaningful Assessment

Join us for an immersive workshop series where we delve into the intricacies of aligning assessments with the BC curriculum through the backward design process. Whether you're a seasoned standards-based grading (SBG) veteran or a novice, this session caters to all, bridging the gap between theory and practical implementation. Through hands-on practice and discussions, we'll explore strategies to create meaningful assessment methods, provide clear feedback, and use various tools like Seesaw (digital portfolios) to showcase learning. Additionally, we'll briefly explore the integration of AI tools to enhance assessment practices. Expect a blend of theory and real-world application, tailored to your specific teaching context.
