Job Description
We are looking for an independent contractor who is certified to teach in BC for our Langley Community Connections+ program location. Community Connections Plus (CC+) are in person learning opportunities that are one full day per week for 30 weeks where students collaborate in a class setting with a home-education flavour with a focus on meaningful and hands-on learning activities. CC+ classes are led by BC certified teachers fully responsible for covering all CC+ course outcomes.
ADST (Grades 6-9); Science, Social Studies (Grade 6) 0.26 FTE, one day (Thursday) on-site for 30 weeks at Christian Life Assembly Church, 2025-26 school year
Job Requirements
BC Certified Teacher
Previous experience teaching relevant subjects
Previous experience teaching CC/CC+
Ability to build relationships and work relationally with students, parents, coordinator and other team members
Flexible attitude towards adapting to students and situation
