Description:
The vice principal must always focus on improving instruction with the goals of Christian education and the Kootenay Christian Academy’ s mission and vision statements. The vice principal works with the principal to ensure that the unity within the school community of Kootenay Christian Academy is maintained.
In addition to some teaching responsibilities, the vice principal position includes, but is not limited to, the following administrative duties for which he/she will receive an administrative allowance:
supporting the principal in providing educational and spiritual leadership,
curriculum planning and instruction
staff assignments, supervision and evaluation
student discipline - oversee student conduct and disciplinary procedures
responsibilities and projects as assigned by the principal
Pay Range: 70,000-90,000
