Do you lead by example, living a Christ-centered life that inspires others? If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Principal at Maranatha Christian School, a Christian school in the beautiful interior of British Columbia that strives to nurture young minds and hearts in the love of Christ.
About Us:
At Maranatha Christian School, we believe in the power of a Christ-centered education that not only prepares students for academic success but also equips them to serve and lead in the world in a way that honors God. We provide an environment where students, staff, and families can grow in their faith and love for Christ, and where education is a tool to develop the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.

The Principal will play a key leadership role in upholding the school’s mission of academic excellence while fostering an atmosphere that is grounded in biblical principles. This individual will oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring that students receive a high-quality, Christ-centered education and that faculty and staff are supported in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example, modeling a Christ-like character and values in all aspects of life and work.
Ensure the academic, spiritual, and social well-being of students by overseeing curriculum development, teaching practices, and student support services.
Foster a positive, Christ-centered school culture where respect, love, and compassion are paramount.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for faculty and staff, helping them grow spiritually and professionally.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the community, keeping them informed about school initiatives, events, and achievements.
Implement policies and procedures that align with the school’s mission, values, and accreditation requirements.
Build strong relationships with students, providing encouragement, guidance, and support both in and out of the classroom.
Collaborate with the executive board and other administrative leaders to set strategic goals for the school’s future growth and development.
Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the school, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
