After-School Program Instructor

Requirements/ Description:

Pacific Academy is seeking trained and experienced applicants joining our school to provide extracurricular programs after school. This is a part-time position commencing in September 2024.

Job Description:

As an After School Program Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in various educational and recreational activities. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and leading structured sessions in one or more of the following areas: All kinds of Sports, Fine Art, Martial Art, Coding. Science (STEM), Mathletics, English (Reading or Writing), Chess or other engaging clubs, Debate, Drama, Dance, and foreign Languages

Qualifications:

Candidates should have:

• Passion for working with children and promoting positive development

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferred

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor of Education, ECE (Early Childhood Education) or equivalent work experience/qualification is preferred

• Ability to effectively manage groups of students and adapt to varying needs and abilities

• Enthusiasm for the subject areas you will be instructing

• Flexibility and willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals

• Understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
